Having Dinner With My Parents
I went to Cafe Yamaneko. It was a good time for reading. After that, I stopped by a supermarket and bought a Japanese candy kit for the workshop at my solo show’s opening reception. I prepared a manual on how to make it in English and conducted an experiment for my new artwork. I created a draft image using Photoshop. It looked fine, but I could not come up with a good concept. In the evening, I went to Daizushi with my parents. I had some sashimi and sushi, but I held back and could not eat much. After that, we went to Ajia-tei. It was a very rare occasion for my dad to join us. We had a pleasant time and shared dishes like ham and cheese cutlets. I do not know why my dad ordered a green apple chu-hi. My dad went back home alone, and my mom and I left the restaurant just around 11 p.m. Later, I had a small bowl of ramen noodles as a late-night meal. I fell asleep just after midnight.
