Attending Korean Class
It was a rainy day with heavy downpour. Around 3 pm, I went to a cafe called Yamaneko. The previous day, I had gone to Komeda Coffee. I recently started a new daily routine of visiting cafes to read books. This routine feels beneficial for my life. When I entered the cafe, some elderly people were painting flowers. The cafe owner seemed knowledgeable about painting. I just had a coffee and read books. During that time, the cafe owner’s grandchild, an 18-year-old, came in. The owner gave him a glass of iced coffee. Later, I went to Koami-cho and attended my Korean class. As usual, it was a productive session. Afterward, I visited an izakaya called Shokichi, but I had forgotten about the super annoying TV they had installed. I just had a beer and then moved to another bar, Columbo. It reminded me of a visit I made over 10 years ago. The bar staff told me that they will close next month because the building is scheduled for demolition, so they have to move out. It made me feel like everything is fleeting. I returned to the nearest station and tried to visit an okonomiyaki bar called Naoki, but it was closed. I then walked to Rakuraku-en and entered an okonomiyaki shop named Kabetsu. The shop is located in front of the calligraphy class where I currently study, meaning they are in the same building. I had a mixed vegetable okonomiyaki. It was mediocre, and I regretted not ordering a regular one. I fell asleep before 11 pm.
