Arriving in South Korea
I was not able to sleep on the airplane that departed from Amsterdam. I transferred at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and did some daily routines at the lounge. I arrived at Incheon Airport at 3:30 pm. The immigration procedure queue was not as long as before and was faster than my previous terrible experience. I bought a SIM card and tried to register with UBER, but the SMS did not work, so I had to use my Japanese phone number instead. The hotel I booked turned out to be a genuine hot-pillow hotel. When I was checking in, around 7 pm, a hotel clerk gave me two condoms with the amenities. I did some muscle training and then went out. I visited a local Korean bar. I could not understand the entire menu, so I ordered Kimchi and beer. The bar owner gave me some peanuts. She said, “This is service.” The cost was only 10,000 KRW. She repeated, “This is service.” I stopped by a convenience store and bought some beers and packed bibimbap. I had them in the hotel room. I soaked in hot water for the first time in three months. I fell asleep just after 11 pm. I did not have enough sleep, so I slept like a log.
