The Year Winds Down
It was a crazy cold day. There was frost on the road. I went to the bar called Stiefel. I stopped by a mobile fish shop. There is an open-air market every Friday in this village. I had four glasses of beer. I asked the bar owner about Ivon’s condition because she was supposed to have a serious operation. However, the doctors (four people) got sick then her operation was postponed even though she was standing-by with all of the medical materials on her body in the operation room. I had deep-fried white fish with stamppot (mashed potato dish) and ramen noodles for dinner. I fell asleep around 10pm.
