I waited with my ten-year-old nephew, Rintaro. The technician arrived just before noon and made a good impression. He explained that the air conditioner had a problem with the pipe and that it was not just a gas leak. The estimate was more than 100,000 JPY, which was expensive. I had to confirm with my sister whether the price was acceptable. I called her at her workplace, Starbucks, and she approved the price. The repair was completed in less than an hour. However, the air conditioner still did not blow cool air. Anyway, Rintaro and I visited a local history museum. They were holding a kind of haunted house event. Rintaro got frightened and screamed a lot. He grabbed my hand tightly, and, amusingly, he sent me ahead like a scout to check what was around the next corner. It was one of the funniest and most heartwarming moments for me. In the evening, I went to a local restaurant called Oku-sen. It had a cozy atmosphere, and the owner, a man in his seventies, was very friendly. We talked about several things, and he asked me whether I liked books. He was also a book lover, and he gave me a book written by Ryo Hanmura. After I came back home, I talked with my sister about the problem with the air conditioner. She also said that it was clearly not fixed. We searched for information about how to get a refund or have it repaired again. The repair company’s reviews were all terrible online. I would be very disappointed if I could not get my money back. We found a temporary solution. We were exhausted. I fell asleep just after midnight.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
I waited for a technician to repair an air conditioner, so I had to stay home from 11 am to 1 pm.
