I normally fast on Sundays, but since this Sunday is my birthday, I did it on Saturday instead. It was my second 36-hour fast, and it was easy to do. I did not feel any discomfort. I have been worried about my financial situation. I felt impatient and wanted to escape somewhere. I went to bed around 8 pm and read books. I heard my housemate talking on the phone, which made me feel sick and irritated. I wore earplugs that I got on an airplane.
