These days, my sharemate does not go out anywhere even on weekends. I do not like staying in the house very much, so I visited a movie theater. I watched The Shining, which was produced by Stanley Kubrick. I watched it when I was a university student, but I had forgotten almost all the details. From the very beginning, the movie gave me a strong and pure impression. I want to applaud this great film. What a great movie exists in the world. I realized that I still keep my artistic sense. After that, I visited the bar Stiefel. There was only one customer, Mike. He told me that day was the bartender Elsa’s birthday. I said “Happy Birthday” in Dutch to her and bought her a drink. Mike left soon. The bar was going to have a music event that night, so customers would come later than usual. I reflected again on the fantastic movie. After about 30 minutes, Martine came in. He offered me a drink, but I had already had enough for that night. We shook hands and I left. I had stir fried vegetables, canned baked herring, and sliced bread for dinner.
