I felt nauseous, but I had to go to lunch with An, who is Vietnamese and whom we met at a local restaurant a couple of days ago. Around 11:30 am, he picked us up at the hotel where we were staying by Grab. We visited a duck cuisine restaurant and had a variety of duck dishes. I wanted to fight off my nausea, so I had a beer. We asked about his situation, such as his parents\u2019 condition and his religion. I was going to pay the bill, but he treated us. I could not understand why he treated us so generously. In the first place, he also treated me the first time we met. I felt sorry for his too much hospitality. Eri and I returned to the hotel with An, and we said goodbye in front of the hotel. I could not thank him enough. I rested in the hotel room until about 7 pm. We went out to have dinner, but it suddenly started pouring. We entered a local rice noodle shop. I still felt nauseous, so I could only eat a very small portion. I took a shower and read a book on Kindle about the Vietnam War. It was quite interesting. I fell asleep just after midnight.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
I was in really poor condition.
