In the early morning, Eri went to Amsterdam to meet her friend, so it was my first private time in several weeks. I got a message from Jan that Janine&#8217;s father had passed away the previous day. I had to rearrange my plan to discuss a group show with a Dutch artist. No one knows when a person will die. In the first place, I prefer attending a wedding ceremony to a funeral because someone&#8217;s death makes me reflect on the philosophy of life. Before I went out to the bar, I stayed in the living room for a while. I conveyed my condolences to Janine and Jan. They were talking with their neighbors. I went to the bar, Stiefel. I showed an invitation letter for the funeral to the bar owner, Maria. She translated it for me. I had some beers, and as usual, it was a comfortable time. I stopped by a supermarket and bought some food, like a packed Asian meal. When I was cooking dinner, Eri came back. We had dinner together.
